Our CO2 check valves feature both 1/4" MFL connectors and check valves.
So why both features? Its simple! Its designed with your beer`s best interest in mind.
The 1/4" MFL connect allows you to change tubing without cutting the hose away from a barb. When you score hose from a regular barb fitting to remove it, you can score and damage the barb, thus causing a gas leak on the new connection.
What`s a check valve? Its a device that ensures an attached gas line works in a one-way manner, pushing gas to your keg. If the pressure is greater from the keg back to the regulator (i.e. when a tank runs out of gas), the check valve ensures beer does not backup and ruin your regulator.
