Phenolphthaline is a component in our acid titration test kit and is used with sodium hydroxide to determine the wine's acidity level. This solution initiates a color change in the wine sample when enough Sodium Hydroxide is added to neutralize the wine sample's acidity.
It is recommended to replace this reagent 5 years from manufacture; if no manufacture date is indicated, replace yearly.
