SPM Nor`East Pale is a premium golden-colored malt produced from select two-row spring barley. This English style pale malt offers a sweet and slightly nutty malt characteristic that is reminiscent of freshly baked bread crust. Drum kilned at a higher temperature (>95 C) but still providing enough enzymatic power to be used as a base malt for up to 100% of the grain bill. This is a perfect choice for creating traditional malt-forward lagers and ales. And, if you`re crafting your version of a "West Coast IPA or one of today`s hoppy NEIPAs choose this malt for a "Locally crafted beer brewed with locally crafted malt"!
